Who We Are

The Construction Development Corporation Limited (CDCL) has its genesis in the erstwhile Mechanical Division of the Department of Roads under the Ministry of Works and Human Settlement (MoWHS). On 1st July 2006, it was delinked from MoWHS to function as a self-sustaining commercial unit under the ministry. Subsequently, on 7th December 2009, CDCL was incorporated under the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2000, thereby becoming a full-fledged state-owned enterprise. After five years of operations as an SOE, the Ministry of Finance handed over the ownership of CDCL to Druk Holding and Investments (DHI) in January 2015.  ...Read more
